HANDLING INSTRUCTIONS
Upon receiving your delivery of The MicroMask®, follow these instructions to begin using it properly.
Step 1 – Taking delivery. Your product must be delivered into a sealed bag in order to be kept clean. Inside the bag you will find The MicroMask® along with 10 replaceable filters.
Step 2 – Sanitation. We recommend to sanitise the product before using it for the first time. You can spray some pure or reduced alcohol with 30% water, both on the outside and inside, letting it get dried for 15 minutes. You can also wash it, as indicated in the “Washing and care” section.
Step 3 – Filter placement. Once the product is dry, place The MicroMask® filter the inside the pocket of your mask. You will find it inside the mask, as you can see in the picture below.
Step 4 – Placement and adjustment. Now put on The MicroMask® and enjoy protection.
HOW TO PUT THE MASK
These masks are ergonomic and fit the face properly. This is a protective mask, it is not a surgical type mask, which are generally loose-fitting. We recommend you to try adjusting the mask tightly and loosely, to find out how it best suits your face. You will feel it as it will fit your face features properly, allowing you to breathe easily and carry out your movements comfortably.
To be correctly placed, the white surface must be in contact with the face, the colored part is on the outside. The MicroMask® label should be on the right side of the face, and the elastic closure should always be at the top, never at the bottom.
If you look at the photo where the filter appears, this is how you should see the mask when youput it on. This way you make sure that the filter is in the correct position, for your protection and that of others.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Using the mask for longer than 3 hours is not recommended. If you have to use it for longer periods of time each day, you are recommended to have 2 or 3 units available to replace them. In case you suffer of claustrophobia, wearing masks can make it difficult for you to breathe easily.
Difficulties in breathing can be easily generated in enclosed places with temperatures above 26 o C during long periods of time.
WASHING AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS.
1) Do not machine wash it.
2) Hand wash it every day after use.
3) In order to wash it properly remove the filter and clean both components separately.
4) Leave the mask soaking in water with neutral soap for 1 hour and rub gently.
5) Do a gentle wash to the filter separately with water and neutral soap for 20 seconds.
6) Let it air dry, dryer is not recommended.
7) Do not reuse until completely dry.
