WHAT EXPERTS SAY ABOUT THE MASKS
The entire scientific community and health authorities recommend the use of a mask to reducethe risk of contagion. Since the end of May 2020, its use is mandatory in Spain for the general population when it is not possible to keep the safety distance of 2m.
The coronavirus that has caused this pandemic is a silent virus. People carrying Covid-19 may notpresent any symptoms for as long as the virus remains in their body. In this case, this asymptomatic carrier may infect several dozen people for several weeks. And this is the most dangerous risk. For this reason, it is essential for all of us to protect ourselves, covering our nose and mouth effectively, to avoid spreading the virus, (although not infallible) in the event that we have it and do not know it. In addition, if you wear a mask, the risk of getting infected is also reduced in case you have someone infected around you.
It is also very important to remember the rest of the safety measures: keep the social distance of 2m whenever possible, and maintain continuous and adequate hand hygiene.
I am your vaccine. We can all be part of the vaccine.
